From the Stone Age to the present day, there has been some kind of human habitation in and around the quiet town of Chesham. With Anglo-Saxon beginnings, through "Market Town" status and the Industrial Revolution, Chesham has been an important location to the economy of the Chilterns. Please join us for David Green's talking tour of this hisorical town.
About the speaker:
David Green has been leading walks for the Bucks Historical Association since he was the Historic Landscape/Townscape Characterisation Officer for Bucks County Council. This year he will be taking us through the historic town of Chesham.
